Orioles Announce Spring Training Promotional Schedule

Things To Do

The Orioles today announced that individual tickets for all Spring Training games at Ed Smith Stadium will go on sale Saturday, January 15, at 10:00 a.m. The club also announced its promotional schedule, which is highlighted by five giveaway items. Beginning Saturday, January 15, fans can purchase individual tickets for the Spring Training season. The 2022 Spring Training promotional schedule features giveaways and opportunities for fans of all ages. Again this year, the Orioles invite children and seniors to run the bases after select home games. Kids Run the Bases, presented by Culver’s, is open to all fans ages four to 14, and will return following every Sunday home game, while Seniors Stroll the Bases, available to fans age 60 and older, will return after each Monday home game. The promotional schedule is highlighted by special event days such as Heroes Day (March 6), presented by Cheney Brothers, Fireworks Night (March 26), and Youth Sports Day (March 27), as well as various giveaways, including an Orioles Beach Towel (March 3), an Oriole Bird Mascot Hall of Fame Bobblehead presented by Pepsi (March 19), and an Orioles Cap presented by DAP (March 21). During every Saturday and Sunday home game, the Orioles will honor members of the Sarasota community who are selflessly working or volunteering to improve the lives of others through the Birdland Community Heroes program. To nominate a hero, please visit Orioles.com/Spring. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and for the safety of fans, there will be no in-person ticket sales on Saturday, January 15. Instead, Ed Smith Stadium will continue to serve as a COVID-19 testing site during that time, an ongoing effort created to support the Sarasota community and the area’s healthcare workers.
