Throughout the month of August, two generous foundations have pledged to match all donations made to Girls Inc., dollar for dollar up to $100,000. With the support of these two foundations, Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation and another anonymous foundation partner, Girls Inc. will continue its mission to serve girls who need them the most at its center on South Tuttle Avenue and further its program expansion directly into area schools. Girls Inc. programming is research-based, backed by hard data and informed by the girls who participate. Through after school, summer and outreach programming, the organization serves girls to build lasting skills across every facet of their lives, from healthy decision-making and critical thinking to perseverance and leadership.
