The Gulf Coast Community Foundation has announced that openings remain to register for the upcoming workshop Human Resources: Best Practices for Hiring Employees on March 14. The workshop is for nonprofit organizations and is presented through GCCF’s Invest in Incredible initiative. The deadline to register online at the website below is today, March 12.

The presentation is intended for hiring managers, executive managers, board members accountable for hiring and CEOs, to help set themselves up for success when trying to find the right person for the right job. Attendees will learn about interviewing techniques, effective onboarding processes, and how to evaluate what candidates know and how they will function and contribute in your organization’s culture. The session is led by Laurie Huebner, a senior-level human-resources consultant with extensive experience in the nonprofit and private sectors.

The workshop (8am breakfast; 8:30am–12:30pm presentation) costs $25, and will take place at Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s headquarters in Venice.
