Gulf Gate Rotary Club Donates Turkey Dinners Through CPC

Business

The Gulf Gate Rotary Club is continuing a giving tradition by donating turkey dinners to famliies in need. For the past 35 years, the Gulf Gate Rotary Club has donated and delivered 75 turkeys, assorted groceries and canned goods to the Child Protection Center (CPC). The CPC is then able to distribute these meals to clients and their families at all four CPC locations in Sarasota, Venice, North Port and Arcadia. The mission of CPC is the prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse. CPC has been serving Sarasota and DeSoto Counties since 1980, and last year the organization provided services to over 84,000 individuals, including forensic interviews, prevention education workshops, supervised visits and trauma-informed therapy.
