Curry Up King Authentic German Street Food has opened off North Beneva Road in Sarasota Commons, bringing a piece of Berlin and the most popular street food in Germany to Sarasota. The menu will include the world-famous Original Berliner Currywurst, schnitzel sandwich, Nuernberger Bratwurst, Bavarian Weisswurst, warm German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, Applestrudel and much more. German Curry has nothing to do with Indian or Thai food, but is a home-made Curry ketchup used to make Currywurst. Curry Up King will also feature fresh-baked crispy German rolls, and all food items are prepared fresh daily like in the old country. Curry Up King Authentic German Street Food is open seven days a week from 11am to 8:30pm, Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. Outside seating is available.
