The Education Foundation of Sarasota County’s grocery list perpetually consists of enhancing the potential of students’ learning, promoting excellence in teaching and inspiring innovation in education for the whole of the community. And now you can help the independent, philanthropic organization achieve its continual strides in progressing the classroom when you pick up groceries at your local natural food grocer this week.
Lucky’s Market Sarasota customers are invited to shop for a good cause and support the Education Foundation of Sarasota County from now until through November 10. “For every reusable bag brought in or purchased at Lucky’s, customers will receive a wooden dime to put towards the 'Bags for Change' charity partner of their choice,” says Jennifer Sams Director of Marketing & Communications. By choosing EFSC, customers will be directly contributing to Sarasota County Schools’ educators through the EducateSRQ Grants Program. “EducateSRQ grants allow teachers to take their lessons to the next level through hands-on learning experiences, teaching artists, innovative field trips and so much more,” says Sams. Simply pop your wooden dime into the slot allotted for EFSC, near the front of the store after you’ve checked out.
At the end of the quarter, Lucky's will count up all the dimes contributed and double its donation worth.
