American Announces Nonstop Service to Philadelphia

American Airlines announced it will add nonstop service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). Service to PHL will begin on January 12, 2019, and last through September 1, 2019, with flights offered on Saturdays and Sundays using Embraer 175 aircraft. Flights will depart SRQ at 11:47am and land in PHL at 2:30pm; return flights will depart PHL at 8:05pm and land in SRQ at 11:03am. American is also upgrading its Charlotte (CLT) nonstop service from regional aircraft to larger Airbus A319 aircraft during peak season and will continue to offer daily service to Washington, D.C. (DCA).
