Three new trustees have joined the board of directors of Manatee Community Foundation: estate planning attorney Michael M. Hamrick, a shareholder with Greene Hamrick Quinlan & Schermer; local business leader Tim Henning, district manager with Publix Super Markets; and community leader Bob Turner, former publisher with the Bradenton Herald. MCF’s 2018/2019 board officers are: Lisa Johnson, CPA, chair; James Davis, vice chair; Conrad Szymanski, treasurer; and Howard (Sam) Seider, secretary. Founded in 1998, Manatee Community Foundation has awarded more than $23 million in grants and scholarships through charitable funds established by local individuals who care deeply about the community.
