Who can you trust with a diamond ring? What about taking care of the family heirloom? When it comes to picking a jeweler, it’s about more than just what’s in the case. SRQ voters had a lot to say about this category, with a divided vote leading to more than one tie. Diamond Vault holds on to the title for another year, but June Simmons moves up a slot to tie with Coffrin Jewelers for first runner-up, leaving the second runner-up position open for a tie between McCarver and Moser and Koen Fine Jewelers. Armel Jewelers makes its entry to the Best Of competition with a third runner-up finish.

Scott Paddock (on Diamond Vault): From the moment we walked in, we felt at home, without getting pressure to buy or pestered by pushy sales personnel. Not only did we get our wedding bands from them but worked closely together to create a one-of-a-kind design for a cocktail ring featuring a precious stone I had for 10 years. The ring turned out fabulous and the creation-process was a blast. Their prices are exceptionally fair and the quality unmatched. Ryan Skrzypkowski (on Diamond Vault): They set the standard in their industry. The owner is a wonderful gentleman, a true chaser of the American Dream, and has done an amazing job in allowing the next generation to take the reins of the business and create the organization that it is today. I purchased my wife’s engagement ring from the store and felt very proud to pull out the Diamond Vault box. Grier Ferguson (on Coffrin): Coffrin is a great family-owned jewelry store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable; they know how to do appraisals, repair, cleaning and, best of all, they have designers on staff. The owner makes frequent buying trips, so she has the latest styles from around the world. Kimberly Jackson (on Coffrin): Coffrin Jewelers are trusty jewelers who help personalize the art of gift-giving effortlessly. Rachel Rich (on June Simmons): Jewelry has the power to be the one little thing that can make you feel unique. June Simmons Jewelry is enthralling, and wearing their pieces will make you feel as though you are the most beautiful woman in the room. Jordan Letschert (on McCarver and Moser): The staff and owner Roland were instrumental in finding our perfect wedding rings for this past May. We wanted something no one had ever seen. Roland went out of his way to bring in options from outside the store then customized them. Perfect rings for a perfect wedding. Susan Kerstan-DeVito (on Koen Fine Jewelers): Lisa and John Koen have been taking care of all my jewelry needs and repairs for years. They do an awesome job at finding exactly what I’m looking for.
